Service and Support

Each stairlift manufacturer has different conditions relating to service and support. Heres what some of the main stairlift manufacturers say about service and support.

Platinum stairlifts

Platinum understands that customers want their stairlifts supplied quickly. Thats why their modern manufacturing process can deliver curved stairlifts in an industry-leading 10 days. Platinum stairlifts also come with a minimum 12-month warranty and the company sticks to strict codes of practice laid down by the British Healthcare Trades Association.

Minivator stairlifts

Minivators installation and service team operates nationally. Every Minivator stairlift engineer has had product-specific training and on-site training. They are also trained in Health and Safety. Minivators stairlift service team can be contacted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Meditek stairlifts

Meditek provides full backing and support, including an online customer support account.

Freelift stairlifts

Freelift states that any stairlift user experiencing a breakdown should call its customer service office during office hours or weekends and its first-class engineers will attend to the problem quickly.

Warranties & Aftercare

At UK Stairlifts we offer stairlifts from a variety of the UKs leading manufacturers. The warranties vary dependent on the model of stairlift you have chosen to have installed by us.

Most of our stairlifts come with a minimum 12 month warranty on parts and labour to protect you against breakdown. During this period the stairlifts manufacturer or supplier will arrange to come out and repair the fault free of charge.

Extended warranties are available on all the stairlifts we provide. These extended warranties provide the peace of mind that following the initial warranty period, in the unlikely event of a breakdown, you will get the stairlift back up and running quickly and are not saddled with a large repair bill.

We offer a range of different warranties, covering a variety of eventualities and periods of time, so there is something to suit every requirement and budget.

Re-conditioned Stairlifts

Re-conditioned models, like new stairlifts, will usually come with a 12 month warranty. You can also cover these stairlifts with an extended warranty and repair policy, to protect against any problems.
